Farmers walk - Kioni/Raxi/Akrotiri - Mondays Popular walk from an old olive press and mill, then with kind permission, through ancient forest to a local farmers land and olive settlements. Complimentary living history guide, local cheese and wine tasting.

Start: 18.00 Duration: 2 hours. A gentle shady stroll .

Guided tour to one of Ithaca ' s most important Mycenaean sites.

Ithaca Past and Present -Wednesdays

A walk to the olive groves and Plateau of Rousanno, Ascend to the mountain village of Exoghi, visiting the monastery and gaining a unique insight into Ithaca past and present. A place for spectacular views and sunsets. Descend on a donkey track for a drink/meal in a local taverna. (Stavros/Platrethia)

Odyssean trail – Vathi -Thursdays

Start at Marathias, home of Eumaeus the swineherd and place of hiding of Odysseus. The walk continues to Spillotissa (church in the cave).A stunning walk with breathtaking views, treading on paths steeped in mythology.

Nature walk - Fridays

A walk from Kioni to Anoghi on an old Shepherds path. A stop for lunch in the local taverna. Descend to Vigla through some of the best flora and fauna on the island, resting at an olive settlement and church. Return to Kioni for a well deserved beer, taking in spectacular views of Ithaki ' s surrounding islands.

Start 11.00 duration; Duration: 6 hours. Moderate to difficult.
